Terms & Conditions
The terms under which we accept orders and you use the Tom Fried website.
01
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under the laws of your country to use our site or place an order.
02
2. Account
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for any activity carried out under your account.
03
3. Orders and acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A binding contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order, in which case we will refund the full amount through the original payment method.
04
4. Pricing and currency
Prices on the site are listed in GBP.
Local currency at checkout is indicative; the final charge is processed in GBP by your card issuer at the prevailing rate.
If we discover a pricing error after you place an order, we will contact you to either reconfirm at the corrected price or cancel the order with a full refund.
05
5. Payment
We accept the payment methods listed on our checkout page. All payments are subject to security checks; we use 3-D Secure where available.
06
6. Delivery
See our Shipping Policy at /policies/shipping-policy for delivery times, costs per region, customs handling, and signature requirements.
07
7. Returns
See our Returns & Refunds Policy at /policies/refund-policy for the return window, conditions, final-sale exclusions, and refund timing.
08
8. Intellectual property
All content on this website — text, photography, layout, code, and trademarks — is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, distribute, scrape, or otherwise reproduce any part of the site without our written permission.
09
9. Prohibited use
You agree not to:
- Use the site in a way that breaches any applicable law.
- Transmit illegal, offensive, or defamatory content through the site.
- Interfere with the security of the site or attempt unauthorised access.
- Use automated means to extract data from the site without permission.
10
10. Liability
We are liable for the value of the order placed. We are not liable for indirect loss, loss of use, loss of opportunity, loss of profit, or any damages beyond the value of the merchandise — except where such liability cannot be excluded by law (for example, death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud; or rights of consumers under applicable consumer-protection law).
11
11. Force majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform when the failure is caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control — including acts of God, war, civil unrest, pandemics, embargoes, strikes, courier failures, or natural disasters.
12
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through direct conversation will be referred to the Courts of England.
If you are a consumer based in the EU, this clause does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
13
13. Contact and complaints
If a piece does not sit right, the conversation starts with us, not the courts. Write to hello@tomfried.com.
